city with 250.000 inhabitants, university with 30.000 students; lively culture; on the border of the black forrest; much nature (for central europe)

students learn what, when, where, with whom they want; weekly school meeting (one person=one vote) decides schools rules;

yes

mainly German; English readily available; other available languages: French, Italian, Spanish

Would the exchange student have to pay tuition; could tuition be exchanged for a free exchange opportunity for students of your school at the school of your guest?:
tuition could be exchanged for exchange opportunity at sending school

Are there any expenses for staying in the host family:
families should be paid normal living costs (mainly for daily food) ~ about 150€/month

Can you provide basic info on daily expenses (food, transportation) in your city:
have you had previous experiences with student exchanges or hosting a student? what was positive/negative?:
yes we had and we consider them a gift for all involved most of the time

Do you have experience with raising funds for travel expenses?:
sadly no, not really

Can you put down a holiday schedule for your school? are there times when you wouldn't welcome students:
we don't like to take many short-time visitors at the end of the school year (June/July)

Are you also interested in staff exchange? what are your ideas for such an exchange?:
definitely yes – let's do it similar to student exchange (staff keep their old payment and just switch places for some weeks/months)
