Hamburg: hanseatic city, in the north of Germany, with about 1,8 million people

Description of school’s concept:

‘Neue Schule Hamburg’ is organised on the sudbury school concept. We practice a form of democratic education in which students, between 6 and 16 years, live together. They decide on their own, what and when they want to learn different things. School opens from 8am to 5pm.

Students don’t have to pay tuition.

It depends on the host family.

Yes, we had students and many visitors and we enjoy having more inspired meetings, interesting discussions and motivations.
